Geneva looking to bounce back after the loss last night against Geneva County jumped out to an early lead over the Redtops. Geneva controlled the game for the 1st period before Slocomb went on a big run to end the first half. The second half was an up hill battle for the Panthers but they were able to fight their way back into the game with big shots from Logan Adams and Avery Perry. Geneve took advantage of a technical foul against the Redtops and the Redtop players in foul trouble to extend their lead. The Panthers pulled out a narrow victory winning 60-50. Geneva was led by Avery Perry with 15 points, Tre’von Kemmerlin with 13 points, and Logan Adams with 11 points. Slocomb was led by 8th grader Cade Birge with 18 points and Jaylen Nobles with 17 points. The Panthers are back in action Thursday night following the girls game at home against Daleville.
