The Fort Rucker 1-13th Aviation Regiment Marches into the Stadium

On Sept.6, the Panthers welcomed into Hugh Memorial Stadium the 1-13th Aviation Regiment from Fort Rucker for our annual Military Appreciation Night. It was an amazing night, not only for the Soldiers to be able to come and watch some Geneva football, but also for the panther fans, players, coaches, and PSN to be able to have the soldiers there and show our love and support for everything they do for us.

The Geneva Panthers took on the Providence Christian Eagles on Friday night. Providence had their way with the Panthers after Wise Gordon scored on the first play of the game. Collins McLintok helped add points on the board for the Eagles in the first quarter.

Both Gordon and McLintok had touchdowns in the second quarter as well. Panthers started the second half with the ball and was driving down field until the eagles intercepted one of Kahari Reynolds’ passes and took it for a pick six. On the offensive side for the eagles Grant Weatherford had a touchdown reception, but in the fourth quarter the panthers started to fight back.
