Geneva hosts county rival, Samson

The Lady Panthers took on the Lady Tigers for the first matchup of the night. The game was back and forth all the way through. Samson led 22-16 at halftime before the Lady Panthers stormed back and outscored Samson in the second half. The game came down to the wire, with the fans getting into it as well. Samson Lady Tigers were able to pull out close victory to a score of 31-30.

The second game of the night was the Varsity Boys game. Geneva came out of the gate hot, hitting multiple threes and capitalizing on turnovers. The Pantherw kept the foot on the gas throughout the first half and took a huge lead into the half. After halftime we saw a lot of substitutions as the Panthers cruised to a 80-36 victory over county rival Samson. Geneva was led by Freshmen Talin Johnson with 14 points off the bench, Avery Perry with 13 points, and another Freshmen Evan Griffin with 10 points. Samson was led by Jacob Branch with 12 points, Coe Kelley with 9 points, andLuke Neid with 9 points.
