Houston Academy vs Geneva


On Monday, October 7, the Geneva Lady Panthers host another tri-match this season against Houston Academy and Opp. 

 Houston Academy led the majority of the match, winning 25-16, 25-9 and 25-14. In addition to earning the 17 aces, the strong, hard serving forced numerous weak Geneva dig efforts, resulting in the Panthers not being able to set up its attacks. Camryn Sanders had two aces, one assist, one kill and two digs. Chloe Nance with five assists, four kills, and one block. Emma Griffin with one assist, three kills, one block and one dig. Pazley Lamb with three assists and two digs. Shelby Hammock with three kills and Addyson Martin with one assist. 

Opp vs. Geneva

Opp defeated Geneva 25-17, 20-25, 15-12. 

For Geneva, Chloe Nance had seven kills, six assists and two digs and Pazley Lamb had three aces and eight digs. Camryn Sanders had five assists and two digs, Shelby Hammock five kills and Daydee Holt three aces, two kills and two digs. Emma Griffin had three kills and four digs and Addyson Martin had two digs.

Their record is now 18-12. The Lady Panthers next travels to Straughn for a tri match which includes Geneva, Straughn and Goshen. The Lady Panthers first played Goshen then Straughn.

Panthers take over Redtops: area matchup

 

The Geneva volleyball team hosts an area game against Slocomb on Tuesday, October 1. 

Geneva takes the lead and wins all three sets. 25-16, 25-12, 25-23. Chloe Nance had two kills, six assists and four aces. Madison Johnson has  two aces, and 11 assists. Emma Griffin had nine kills, and four digs. Shelby Hammock had eight digs and eight kills. Daydee Holt with one kill, four digs and four aces. Pazley Lamb with three digs and one aces. Addyson Martin earned two kills.

Their current record is 17-7. 

The Lady Panthers will next partake in the Goshen tournament on, Saturday October5.

Lady Panthers Get Revenge on the Lady Bulldogs

The Geneva volleyball team hosts Kinston on Monday, September 30. 

After a few earned points by the Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Panthers get into the game and take the win of all three sets.  The scores were 25-20, 25-22, and 25-23. During each set, the Lady Panthers hustled on and off the court, aiming for a win. Chloe Nance had seven kills one block, 12 assists and 2 aces. Madison Johnson has 9 kills, two aces, two blocks and 10 assists. Emma Griffin had seven kills, one block, three aces and seven digs. Shelby Hammock had seven digs, two kills, five aces. Daydee Holt with one kill, 10 digs and two aces. Pazley Lamb with five digs and three aces. Addyson Martin earned four kills.

Their current record is 16-7.

The Lady Panthers will next host an area game against Slocomb on Tuesday, October 1st.

Clean sweep: Area Matchup

The Geneva volleyball team traveled to Slocomb on Tuesday, September 24 to play another area game. 

The Lady Panthers take a well deserved timeout

Geneva takes the lead and wins all three sets.  25-16, 28-26, and 25-1. Chloe Nance had seven kills 15 assists. Madison Johnson has 14 kills, seven aces and two aces. Emma Griffin had nine kills, one block, one ace and eight digs. Shelby Hammock had 10 digs, six kills, three aces and one assist. Daydee Holt with four kills, nine digs and two aces. Pazley Lamb with 12 digs and four aces. Addyson Martin earned two kills and one assist. Camryn Sanders earned one kill. 

Their current record is 12-6. 

The Lady Panthers will next take action in the Straughn Hugh School Varsity Volleyball Tournamnet on Saturday, September 28. First game starting at 10:00 am against   Andalusia B. 

Panthers vs. Panthers

The Geneva volleyball team traveled to Wicksburg on Monday, September 23 to play an area game. 

The Varsity Lady Panthers took on five sets with the Lady Panthers. The scores were: 26-28, 25-11, 25-22, and 25-19. Wicksburg winning the first set, and Geneva winning the last three sets.

Chloe Nance with 16 assists, seven kills, one block and five aces. Madison Johnson with 13 assists, four blocks, 13 kills and eight aces. Emma Griffin with six kills and four digs. Daydee Holt with six aces, four kills and 12 digs. Pazley Lamb with 16 digs. Addyson Martin with four kills and one block. Shelby Hammock with five kills, two aces and 17 digs. 

Their current record is 12-6.
